German investments in education and employment in Kosovo continue!
July 27, 2021 - During an official ceremony today was opened the new location of DEKRA Academy in Gjilan. Present at this ceremony were Dimitra Rousvanidou - Global Manager of DEKRA Academy, Nazim Gagica – Director, Municipal Directorate of Education in Gjilan, Shaban Terstena - Director in the Medical High School "Asllan Elezi" in Gjilan, Blerta Baftjari - Coordinator in DEKRA Akademie Gjilan.
" We can offer open horizons to this youngest population in Europe. We have the opportunity to open borders, we have opportunity to open books, to open knowledge, to open institutions, to open minds, to open harts to welcome your Kosovarian candidates who will join our program. This youngest population in Europe will find their way to achieve anything else as any other young population in Europe will do. We will try to support them. To give them the same opportunity as German, Greek, Italian and French youngsters”, said Ms. Rousvanidou.
While Mr. Nazim Gagica said: “I am happy to participate in this inauguration together with the director of the medical school in the inauguration of this extraordinary space that provides knowledge for you. We visited these spaces and symbolically we visited all the cities of Germany. I also thank Mrs. Dimitra, for this cooperation achieved by the Municipal Directorate of Education in Gjilan and DEKRA Academy to provide an additional opportunity for students in the municipality of Gjilan. An opportunity for training, a qualification, and employment. So, an opportunity, a motivation, an incentive for brain rotation and brain return, and in no way brain drain. I very much hope that from here our students will receive extraordinary experiences from countries such as Germany, to return and give their contribution to our country."
Also, Mr. Shaban Tërstena during his speech said: “I thank DEKRA Akademie for this investment that they have made here in Gjilan, to provide better conditions for our students. Our students even without DEKRA Akademie are going to Germany, but through DEKRA Akademie it will be much easier for them, even those who have or do not have the financial means to take this journey. We already have a memorandum of understanding with DEKRA Academy, in addition to the students who will benefit from DEKRA Academy, other students who are not part of this program will also benefit from DEKRA Academy because in this memorandum we have an agreement for training of our teachers and didactic tools for our school, so that the benefit is mutual for both DEKRA Akademie and our school. We wish that everyone returns to us with their experiences in the future and brings that experience to Kosovo so that our health system will be at the German level ".
While Blerta Baftjari thanked the participants also said: “I am very happy that we are welcoming you in such a pleasant and innovative environment for our city of Gjilan that meets all the conditions for a quality learning. We are providing to our candidates a professional training and development in the best possible way. Thank you DEKRA Academy for the German spirit that you have brought to our beautiful city of Gjilan "
